Don’t be fooled by cheaper prices when purchasing a new HVAC system
Purchasing a new HVAC system can be one of the more expensive purchases made by a homeowner. However, not all HVAC companies are alike. Don't be fooled by cheaper prices when purchasing a new HVAC system. Here at LHT Cooling, Heating & Refrigeration, Inc., we include many things that other companies either charge extra for or simply do not do.
Whenever we quote a price for a new system, the price includes all equipment, parts, labor, taxes and permits. Also included with every new system is the following:
- Removal and recycling of old equipment
- Removal and recycling of old refrigerant
- Flushing of refrigerant lines with alcohol flush to remove contaminants
- New hurricane-proof concrete pad under the outdoor unit to increase stability
- New properly fitted emergency drain pan on indoor unit to ensure no damage occurs with condensation
- Stryofoam blocks under indoor unit for stability and decreased noise
- New return air box to ensure proper airflow and no duct leakage
- Custom made supply air transition to ensure new unit fits with existing ductwork
- Two new electrical disconnects to be used to shut off system for servicing or emergencies
- Heat pump legs for outdoor unit – raises unit to increase air flow and allow for drainage
- Two emergency condensate float switches – one on main drain – one on emergency drain pan
- New filter dryer for refrigerant
- Pipe insulation, electrical whips and sight glass
- Seal ductwork
- Strap lineset and flex lines to code
- Wax outdoor unit – for protection from weather
- New serviceable condensate trap
- Flush drain line with water hose
- As you can see, here at LHT Cooling & Heating, we do a quality installation. Even if you may pay a little more, we think we offer a LOT more. So please get multiple quotes, but don't be fooled by cheaper prices when purchasing a new HVAC system!
